Uncorrected machine reading. This text was read by machine (Apple Vision OCR) from a scan of a newspaper page, and the page was cut into articles by machine, at the headlines found by their type size. Nothing has been corrected: expect misread words, text from a neighbouring article, and titles that are the machine reading of the headline, some of them only fragments. Quote from the scan, not from this page.
How this article was cut and titled: headline found by type size in the OCR geometry (split_tabloid.py); 3-3 of 4; machine-segmented newspaper page; uncorrected Vision OCR.

manufacture a commodity. The purpose of manufacturing the commodicy is not for per sonal use for the capitalist but only in prodecing it to sell at a profir. Therefore the capitalist goes to the market with money and buys the macbinery, raw macerials and labour power requiaite to produce the commodity. For cach of these requisites ol production the machinery, the ruw inaterials and the labour power the capitalist pays the 'equilibrium value'; that is to say, he or she doca not rely upon striking lucky bargains, but in cach cast pays the going market rale.

Again, the capitalist cannot normally rely upon a sudden boom in the demand for this commodity; he or she therefore selis it also at its equilibrium value. And yet, despice this limitation, ut the end, the capitalist has more money chan he or she started out with.
