Four-panel cartoon strip: the cartoonist, bored at his drawing board, sets off to hear the Tom Robinson Band in Belfast and is haunted by a sectarian comrade denouncing the music as petit-bourgeois.
Cormac, "Bad Taste" no. 20, Socialist Challenge no. 69, 26 October 1978, page 14. From the Marxists Internet Archive scan.

The strip, panel by panel

1. BAD TASTE by Cormac #20. (The cartoonist at his drawing board.) "I'm bored."

2. (Walking through the city.) Thinks: "— Been slaving all week over a hot drawingboard — time I had some relaxation."

3. Thinks: "Hm-m — the Tom Robinson Band is in Belfast this week — that'd be good — some nice music there —"

4. (A comrade appears in a thought-cloud:) "Really comrade! How can you tolerate such stuff? This petit bourgeois, reformist, opportunistic, decadent, revanchist, unhistorical, class-collaborationist deviationist etc. etc. etc." Cartoonist thinks: "Jee-sus! I'm being haunted by this idiot!"
