Uncorrected machine reading. This text was read by machine (Apple Vision OCR) from a scan of a newspaper page, and the page was cut into articles by machine, at the headlines found by their type size. Nothing has been corrected: expect misread words, text from a neighbouring article, and titles that are the machine reading of the headline, some of them only fragments. Quote from the scan, not from this page.

ROCK Against Sexism About 20 people gathered in London a fortnight ago to have a first discussion on aims and perspectives.

Several issues were debated:

*whether events run by RAS should operate on a 'purist, anti-macho basis or opt for a more populist approach with spotlit name groups, etc.;

*the possibility of setting up workshops to encourage all-women groups and anti-sexist has lyrics;

*the problems of defining itself and effectively illustrating these definitions in gigs.

It was not possible at this stage to set out much in the way of concrete proposals, but the lively and informal discussion promised much for the future of the organisation.

Meanwhile an national benefit

[probably March], a bulletin is underway, and moves are being made to pressurise the rock [themselves gross sexual bias].
